Many of you might have heard about human trafficking from the newspaper, television, or other sources. And some of you may think that human trafficking is not important since it is not really related to your life. In fact, human trafficking plays impacts our lives more than we think. Human trafficking has many forms: labor trafficking, sex trafficking and various forms of child trafficking.

But what can we do about this? The first action to take is to increase our awareness and knowledge about what is going on in our own city, province, and country. Then we can make more informed and educated interventions.

This video provides a good overview of the human trafficking situation in Thailand. This is well worth 25 minutes of your time. For those of you who do not know Thai, English subtitles are provided.
