Last week in Bangkok was a typical Relentless week. Networking meetings with stakeholders, health workshops with staff who do outreach/after care of the sexually exploited, a clinic in an outreach center in the middle of a red-light district and a clinic in a brothel (!).
To be honest, I continue to be burdened by the need. Our guesthouse is on a street where bars, massage parlours, and karaoke bars target Japanese johns in their “entertainment needs”. We return from a late night of outreach and clinics, only to be reminded that we are just a drop in the bucket.
