FAQ: How is Relentless funded?

I’m gratefully funded on a regular basis by individuals and organizations who are committed to being a part of my financial support team. Through their financial giving I am able to support myself and donate my time to other non-profit organizations that are not otherwise able to have a medical specialist visit and consult on their work.

Sometimes a conference, medical school, or organization will invite me to speak or provide consultation and offer to pay for my travel and accommodation expenses. Occasionally, I receive an honorarium for giving a presentation such as Grand Rounds at a hospital. All of these funds are directed back through Relentless project fund at Interserve to fund other trips to groups that are not able to pay me or fund my travel.

Donations are collected through an organization called IDEAS and are tax-deductible. IDEAS provides Relentless with the administration support to be established as a 501(c)3 organization in the United States. For more information on how to be involved through online giving, click here and please designate your gift to the project Relentless.
